GSIC × Missing The Pieces

THE MISSING
PIECE
INSIDE
YOUR MISSION

Georgia Sports Innovation Coalition has the infrastructure, the credibility, and the nonprofit access to reach student-athletes inside schools. Donald Gibson has the curriculum, the coaching, and the athlete development framework to transform what happens when they get there.

See the Partnership Model

The Opportunity

TWO MISSIONS.
ONE BLIND SPOT.

GSIC is positioned to shape Georgia's sports innovation ecosystem, but athlete development programming inside schools requires a practitioner on the ground with a proven framework. That's exactly what's missing.

GSIC Currently

Coalition. Connections. Credibility.

A statewide 501(c)(3) nonprofit with established pathways into Georgia's schools, government partnerships, and an innovation ecosystem reaching 1,500+ startups and 16 pro teams across a $7B+ sports economy.

GSIC Needs

A Curriculum. A Coach. A Practitioner.

Athlete Development is a stated pillar of GSIC's programs. But who is inside the schools, in front of the athletes, running the sessions? That delivery role is currently unfilled.

Donald Gibson Brings

Outside The Lines — Built for This Exact Role.

A structured curriculum purpose-built for student-athlete identity, NIL readiness, brand development, and life beyond the game. Ready to deploy inside schools today and open for any changes.

What Happens Together

GSIC's Access + OTL's Framework = Real Impact.

GSIC opens the door. Donald walks through it — coaching, teaching, and building something that turns GSIC's Athlete Development pillar from a stated goal into a delivered outcome.

What Donald Gibson Brings

THE FULL
SCOPE.

Every role GSIC needs filled under its Athlete Development and Education pillars — Donald does it, with a framework to back it up.

01

Outside The Lines Curriculum Delivery

Two editions purpose-built for different athlete stages — a 24-week High School Edition and a 12-week Collegiate/Professional Edition. Donald administers both directly inside partner schools and programs. Each cohort covers identity, NIL, personal branding, purpose, and financial mindset. Curriculum delivery is grounded in Donald's life coaching training through the World Coach Institute — and his relationship coaching certifications through the Gottman Institute and SYMBIS inform the relational and interpersonal dimensions woven throughout the program.

02

NIL Education & Athlete Branding

Donald teaches student-athletes how to identify their value, build their personal brand, and approach NIL opportunities with strategy — not just a following. This directly supports GSIC's stated focus on NIL and athlete readiness.

03

Athlete Development — Off the Field

Donald can serve as an off-field athlete development resource — supporting branding, endorsement strategy, community initiatives, and the life decisions that don't show up in a playing contract. With the skill set, framework, and vision of an athlete manager, Donald is positioned to grow into and fulfill that role for the athletes GSIC serves.

04

Brand Strategy & Storytelling

As a TV writer, curriculum developer, and brand strategist, Donald helps GSIC's athlete partners develop a narrative — not just a profile. That story becomes their edge in NIL, recruiting, and the marketplace.

05

School Relationship Development

Donald brings a vision and framework for building partnerships with high school and college athletic departments across Georgia — giving GSIC a boots-on-the-ground operator who speaks the language of coaches, ADs, and student-athletes.

Why This Works

MISSION
ALIGNMENT.

Every pillar of GSIC's programs maps directly to something Donald Gibson has already created. This isn't a stretch — it's a fit.

The Curriculum

Outside The Lines — built on one belief:
sports is the vehicle,
not the purpose.

OTL isn't a workshop or a one-day event. It's a structured curriculum with two distinct editions — each built for a different stage of the athlete's journey.

High School Edition
24
Weeks — Foundation Program

Designed for student-athletes building identity before the recruiting process begins. A longer runway that allows deeper identity work, community impact development, and early NIL awareness — delivered inside high school athletic departments as an embedded program. Run through GSIC's school partnerships.

Collegiate / Pro Edition
12
Weeks — Advanced Program

Built for college athletes and professionals navigating NIL deals, brand partnerships, and identity at the highest level. A focused, intensive cohort covering brand strategy, endorsement negotiation, financial discipline, and purpose alignment — for athletes who are already in the marketplace.

01

Identity First

Athletes discover who they are outside the sport before they build a brand around it.

02

NIL Readiness

Structured NIL education — value identification, brand alignment, and deal navigation.

03

Brand & Story

Every athlete leaves with a narrative, a brand voice, and a foundation for their public identity.

04

Financial Mindset

Decision frameworks for wealth building, discipline, and avoiding the traps that derail athletes.

05

Purpose Alignment

Athletes identify their mission beyond the sport — the foundation every career decision is built on.

06

Community Impact

Athletes develop a community platform — turning influence into legacy, not just followers.

✏️

This Is a Living Partnership

This proposal is a starting point, not a fixed contract. As GSIC and Donald Gibson build together, the program structure, delivery model, school partnerships, and revenue framework can all be amended and updated collaboratively. The goal is a long-term partnership that evolves — not a one-time arrangement.

How We Structure This

THE PARTNER-
SHIP MODEL.

Three ways this partnership can work — from a simple program licensing arrangement to a full embedded role within GSIC's athlete development operations. Open to discussion on all terms.

OTL as a
GSIC Program

GSIC licenses and hosts Outside The Lines as an official program under its Athlete Development pillar. Donald administers the 24-week HS edition and the 12-week Collegiate/Pro edition inside partner schools as a GSIC-affiliated practitioner. GSIC gains a structured program it can offer to schools, athletic departments, and community organizations across Georgia.

Donald as
Embedded Partner

Donald joins GSIC as a formal partner or contracted Director of Athlete Development — leading school outreach, running OTL cohorts for both HS and Collegiate/Pro athletes, and serving as the on-the-ground practitioner that turns GSIC's mission into measurable outcomes. The athlete manager role runs in parallel, extending off-field support to athletes in the program.

Co-Developed
Georgia Initiative

GSIC and Missing The Pieces co-develop a Georgia-wide student-athlete development initiative — leveraging GSIC's nonprofit status, government relationships, and Georgia Peach Education Tax Credit pipeline to fund OTL programming across school districts statewide. Donald leads delivery. GSIC leads funding and access. Terms, revenue splits, and program scope defined collaboratively.

LET'S BUILD
THIS TOGETHER.

GSIC has the mission, the network, and the nonprofit infrastructure. Donald has the curriculum, the coaching, and the vision. Together, we close the gap between what Georgia's student-athletes are being told — and what they're actually being taught.
